It’s Friday, finally! Few hours left to leave the long working week behind and I am quite sure that only thing we want is to relax and have some fun. Well, unless you’re crazy about Black Fridays and decided to spend your afternoon (or even the whole day) in queues. I confess that this year, I am making the impossible and trying to behave myself properly and avoid all the Black Friday sales. However, I shall say that for me, Fridays mean bringing my friend together, getting into a car and hitting the road into discovery of new places. And that’s what happened on last Friday. And this time, it was Ribs & Company dinner’s turn.
It’s been a long time since we shared images from Ribs & Company restaurant amongst us. We are just crazy about food and seeing those appetizing images of crispy ribs, we’ve been finishing our conversations with a simple “Ok we shall definitely go there!”.
Ribs & Company concept is to provide a different experience to its costumers offering a traditional American BBQ in a very familiar and friendly environment. In fact, the design of this place filled with raw wood furniture, brick accents and red leather, will definitely warm your soul. Since we entered into this restaurant, we felt like we weren’t in Almada at all, but in a dinner somewhere in the middle of Utah on our way to Arizona.
Deciding what to eat was the most difficult task of the day. It took about 20 minutes to choose something from the menu. The menu is quite extensive and everything, just EVERYTHING seemed to be delicious. For those who are not into the meat, but doesn’t want to miss the opportunity to start their weekend hanging out with friends, there are vegetarian dishes too.
I think there’s no need to talk about food. The images say it all. The dishes are really well served and the quality is really surprising. The price for the meal is around 20€ per person. Your bill depends on how many Dr. Peppers and Cherry Cokes you will drink, but I confess that every penny is worth of.
There’s one REALLY important thing: Do not forget to make an reservation! There a huge affluence and the waiting time is pretty long. But it’s not happening because of a very nice and attentive staff, neither the time they took to prepare the dishes. Not at all! We were astonished to how fast we’d been served. But being in that super cozy place, it seems like time doesn’t exist at all. Through talking to each other, laughing and enjoying our meals, when we looked at the watch, it was already long past eleven.
